5 Reasons Why Lionel Messi Is Not the World's Greatest Footballer

1. Messi Has a Single-Sided Foot: Messi has a left foot that is sensational compared to any other, but he is unfortunately a one-footed player. His right foot is nowhere near up to par with his left, which has led him to take some poor shots and sometimes causes him to lose the ball.

2. Never Played Outside of La Liga: Messi plays for FC Barcelona of La Liga, undoubtedly one of the world's greatest football teams. La Liga is known for its quick play, control, and technical skill, making it perfect for Messi's talented foot skills. It is unknown if Messi could succeed in another, more physical league such as the Premier League in England.

3. Lack of International Success: Messi has yet to bring international success to Argentina, and has failed to win the FIFA World Cup or Copa América.

4. Poor Attitude: Messi's attitude has been questioned throughout his career due to his occasional lack of effort and petulance on the pitch.

5. Not Elusive: Messi lacks the ability to be elusive, and is usually brought down easily due to his lack of speed and strength.
