Champions League semi-final... Harry Kane threatens Real Madrid
English international Harry Kane, striker of the German team Bayern Munich, vowed that his team's match against Spanish Real Madrid would be like a "war" in the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are scheduled to meet in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final, on the floor of Bayern’s Allianz Arena on April 30, before the clash between them is renewed in the return match at the Santiago Bernabeu on May 8. Next.
Harry Kane said in statements reported by the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo": "We know how difficult it is to face Real Madrid. We know how difficult the match is, and they also have distinguished players."
Harry Kane praises Jude Bellingham
Harry Kane said about his compatriot at Real Madrid, the English midfielder, Jude Bellingham: “He is having a wonderful season. He is a high-level and high-class player and I am happy for him.”
He added: "For our part, it will be another war against Real Madrid. These are the matches we love to play. It will be a wonderful experience, against a distinguished team."
He continued: “On the field, I will say hello to Bellingham, of course, but when the whistle blows, it is about doing the best for my team in the end.”
Despite the absence of any English team in the Champions League semi-finals, Harry Kane is certain that there are many English fans who will support Bayern, adding: “In the end, we have to focus on ourselves.”
Bayern Munich and Real Madrid had qualified for the semi-finals of the Champions League, beating Arsenal and Manchester City, respectively, in the quarter-finals. The Bavarian club benefited from a 2-2 draw in the first leg at Arsenal’s “Emirates” stadium, to qualify for the semi-finals after winning the second leg with a clean goal at its home stadium, “Allianz Arena.” As for Real Madrid, they eliminated Manchester City by defeating them on penalty kicks with a score of (4-3), after the two teams tied in the two-legged matches with a score of (4-4).
It is noteworthy that the semi-final is the most exciting round of matches between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, and the last confrontation between them in this round dates back 6 years ago, specifically in the 2017-18 edition, where Real Madrid won in the first leg at the home of the Bavarian team ( 1-2), before the two teams tied in the second leg in Madrid with two goals each.
